[ Loki maneuvered his way from the back of the crowd. He didn't want to be right in the front, but he wanted to be sure that anyone on the stage would be able to hear and see him, if he were to speak up in the middle of the ceremony. He had never seen anything like it. Back where he came from, they never did anything like Kings or Queens of heroes. They just had heroes. There were people in charge, and people who helped, but nothing like this.

He watched everything for a few moments, before getting bored. He lifted up one hand, and in the loudest voice, he shouted. ]

Karina!

[ He waves his hand. ]

Hey -- hey you, Karina!

[ He wouldn't stay long, but...well, he did have enough time to drop in on her and perhaps spend a few moments getting under her skin -- his favorite hobby. ]

[Her face fell seeing there, right there was someone she thought she had seen that last of. Nope, she wasn't going crazy. She really did see him at the crowning ceremony. Of course is was! She regrets ever meeting this guy in that other universe so many years ago. Just when she thinks it's all been but a distant memory he shows up and starts to ruin her life.

She huffed coming into full view putting her hands on her hips looking very displeaed with his presence.]

What the hell are doing here, Loki? How do you even know where I live?

[ He holds up a phone, which clearly has access to the internet. ]

I used this fantastic thing called 'Google'.

[ His tone is so sarcastic. He doesn't move from where he is sitting. ]

Maybe you should make your information harder to find, at least. It was easy for me.

[Her eye twitched at him staring at his phone. After a moment of just angry glaring and huffed, stomping over to bat at his feet to get them off her nice clean couch.]

Normally that's not an issue. Not everyone knows my real name! What were you thinking yelling it in front of everyone? You know I can't let anyone know who I am here!

I was getting your attention.

[ Fine. He gets the no feet on the couch thing. He removes his feet and puts them down on the floor in front of him. He sits upright. ]

Doing some traveling, thought I'd check out your world.

So you came to a public event and shout my real name? You could have called.

[Clearly she was not impressed. She leveled a flat glare at him as she across her arms over her chest.]

And why did you want to? I mean besides you liking to torment me.

[ So unaffected by the glare. He doesn't really care how annoyed she is. ]

That's not the main reason I'm here. I mean one reason, but not the main one. Kind of selfish to think I crossed dimensions for you.

I haven't been here before. I like to travel.

[Something in her chest tightened at that. Of course he didn't come for her. She knew that, but why did that annoy her so much?]

If you didn't come for me, then why are you in my apartment? You're not staying here.

No, I don't need to stay or anything.

[ He'll just go hit on someone pretty and stay there. ]

I came here to check it out. Your world is weird...in comparison.

[Her eyes narrowed and her lips pursed at him as she cocked out a hip, shifting her weight..]

Weird? You come from a place with living gods. How is my universe weird?

You treat this like a competition. This is weird to us.

Well... I guess for someone like you, a normal place like this would seem a bit different.

[She sighed a bit, letting off some of that hot air.]

Look, you can stay here but you have to be on your best behavior, okay? You can't be calling my real name in public when I'm on the job.

Your world is not normal. It isn't some sort of competition at home.

[ folds arms over his chest ]

I never understood the appeal. It isn't like someone can't tell just by looking at you. But whatever.

[Her eyes flatten at him a bit.]

Well you know what I mean. This is 'normal' for me. You have to admit your world is a whole lot different from mine.

[Then her face twisted looking at him as if he said something weird.]

You look just like this. I mean, you can change the hair and makeup, but that doesn't change your face or body shape Karina.

Are all the people in this city completely blind?

[She lets out a long loud huff frowning at him.]
